Comments: Scooby, and his sister Heather (Outlaw Heather), came to us from Illinois, where they were briefly adopted by a family who decided they really didn't have time to devote to a pair of Greyhounds.  Scooby was kept for breeding for several years, and only retired in early 2004.  A list of his offspring can be found here.  He's a medium sized reddish brindle who isn't easy to photograph well.  He's really much handsomer than his pictures show.

Scooby and Heather are also littermates of our own Tony (Greg's Redwing), which is how we got conned into taking two more senior dogs. LOL!  Like Tony, Scoob took his time letting his personality show around new people, but now he's turning out to be just about as much of a ham as his brother.  He's intelligent, affectionate, talkative, and has a playfulness that belies his age.  He gets along fine with all the other kennel dogs, both male and female.  He's not pushy, but he makes it clear that he absolutely delights in some personal attention.  He appears to be in excellent health.  Scoob and Heather have been together most of their lives, and we would love to keep them together, but they can be adopted separately.  Seniors aren't that easy to place, and we'd rather separate them than cheat them out of the homes they deserve.  We've been very tempted to keep both of them ourselves, especially since Scooby is turning out to be a nut like Tony (and Heather is an absolute doll!), but we have a young male who isn't very accepting of new males, so we don't want to risk it.

Update:

They hang out together a lot
